{"id":9243,"date":"2021-08-05T15:52:03","date_gmt":"2021-08-05T15:52:03","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/www.africa-press.net\/tchad\/?p=9243"},"modified":"2021-08-05T20:07:24","modified_gmt":"2021-08-05T20:07:24","slug":"tchad-une-attaque-de-boko-haram-tue-une-vingtaine-de-soldats","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/www.africa-press.net\/tchad\/politique\/tchad-une-attaque-de-boko-haram-tue-une-vingtaine-de-soldats","title":{"rendered":"une attaque de Boko Haram tue une vingtaine de soldats"},"content":{"rendered":"<p><span style=\"color: #ff6600\"><strong><a href=\"https:\/\/www.africa-press.net\/\">Africa-Press<\/a> &#8211; <a href=\"https:\/\/www.africa-press.net\/tchad\">Tchad<\/a>. <\/strong><\/span><b>Au moins 24 militaires tchadiens ont \u00e9t\u00e9 tu\u00e9s et plusieurs bless\u00e9s, mercredi, dans une attaque de Boko Haram dans la r\u00e9gion du lac Tchad, en proie \u00e0 de nombreuses incursions de jihadistes.<\/b><\/p>\n<p>Une attaque de Boko Haram dans la r\u00e9gion du lac Tchad a tu\u00e9, mercredi 4 ao\u00fbt, au moins 24 militaires tchadiens et fait plusieurs bless\u00e9s. \u00ab\u00a0Les \u00e9l\u00e9ments de retour d&rsquo;un patrouille se reposaient quand ils ont \u00e9t\u00e9 attaqu\u00e9s par Boko Haram\u00a0\u00bb, a d\u00e9clar\u00e9 jeudi le sous-pr\u00e9fet de la r\u00e9gion, Haki Djiddi, pr\u00e9cisant que \u00ab\u00a024 militaires ont \u00e9t\u00e9 tu\u00e9s, plusieurs ont \u00e9t\u00e9 bless\u00e9s et d&rsquo;autres militaires se sont \u00e9parpill\u00e9s dans la nature\u00a0\u00bb.<\/p>\n<p>L&rsquo;attaque, qui a eu lieu sur l&rsquo;\u00eele de Tchoukou Telia, \u00e0 190 km au nord-ouest de N&rsquo;Djamena, a \u00e9t\u00e9 confirm\u00e9e par le porte-parole de l&rsquo;arm\u00e9e, le g\u00e9n\u00e9ral Azem Bermandoa Agouna, qui a refus\u00e9 de communiquer un quelconque bilan.<\/p>\n<p><b>Une r\u00e9gion instable<\/b><\/p>\n<p>Le lac Tchad est une vaste \u00e9tendue d&rsquo;eau et de mar\u00e9cages parsem\u00e9e d&rsquo;\u00eelots habit\u00e9s dans l&rsquo;Ouest, dont certains sont des repaires du groupe nig\u00e9rian Boko Haram ou de sa branche dissidente, l&rsquo;\u00c9tat islamique en Afrique de l&rsquo;Ouest (Iswap, selon l&rsquo;acronyme en anglais).<\/p>\n<p>Les autorit\u00e9s tchadiennes appellent indiff\u00e9remment \u00ab\u00a0Boko Haram\u00a0\u00bb ces deux groupes, qui y attaquent r\u00e9guli\u00e8rement l&rsquo;arm\u00e9e et les civils. En mars 2020, une centaine de soldats tchadiens avaient \u00e9t\u00e9 tu\u00e9s en une nuit par le groupe Boko Haram, sur la presqu&rsquo;\u00eele de Bohoma, dans la province du Lac, o\u00f9 se trouve une base de l&rsquo;arm\u00e9e tchadienne. Le pr\u00e9sident Idriss D\u00e9by Itno avait lanc\u00e9 en avril 2020 une offensive contre les jihadistes dans la r\u00e9gion.<\/p>\n<p>Le mar\u00e9chal D\u00e9by est mort en avril 2021 lors de combats contre un groupe rebelle. Son fils, Mahamat Idriss D\u00e9by Itno, \u00e0 la t\u00eate d&rsquo;un Conseil militaire de transition, lui a succ\u00e9d\u00e9.<\/p>\n<p>Dans cette zone \u00e0 la fronti\u00e8re du Tchad, du Nigeria, du Cameroun et du Niger, les attaques se sont multipli\u00e9es ces derniers mois, les jihadistes profitant de leur connaissance de ce terrain mar\u00e9cageux.<\/p>\n<p>La r\u00e9bellion de Boko Haram a \u00e9clat\u00e9 en 2009 dans le Nord-Est du Nigeria avant de se propager dans les pays voisins. Depuis, plus de 36 000 personnes (principalement au Nigeria) ont \u00e9t\u00e9 tu\u00e9es, et 3 millions ont d\u00fb fuir leur domicile, selon l&rsquo;ONU.<\/p>\n<p><b>\u00a0<\/b><\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>Africa-Press &#8211; Tchad.
