He was also the vice-president at its installation.<\/p>\n<p>Appointed Minister in charge of the Armed Forces in December 1991, he left the government of national unity of the transition in 1992.<\/p>\n<p>Aboudou Assouma then became President of the Constitutional Court in 2007, appointed by Faure Gnassingbe\u0301. His mandate was renewed twice, in 2014 and 2019.
