Ce texte eut la gra\u0302ce de se classer parmi ces e\u0301crits qui n\u2019ont besoin que de quelques pages, quelques mots pour interroger et nourrir sur des sie\u0300cles la conscience des hommes.<\/p>\n<p>L\u2019histoire? Le philosophe rec\u0327ut comme cadeau d\u2019un ami fortune\u0301 une belle et riche robe de chambre e\u0301carlate qui tre\u0300s vite cre\u0301a un de\u0301se\u0301quilibre esthe\u0301tique dans son appartement modeste. Il se sentit oblige\u0301 de remplacer son fauteuil, son tapis, ses livres, ses meubles, ses sandalettes&#8230; pour que tout soit en accord avec la belle et riche robe, initiant ainsi une chai\u0302ne d\u2019achats et de torture morale (le \u00ab syndrome de Diderot \u00bb, utilise\u0301 en sociologie, e\u0301conomie, gestion et ailleurs, est ne\u0301 de ce texte). L\u2019essai, e\u0301crit sur un ton ironique, est une profonde re\u0301flexion sur le rapport des philosophes, e\u0301crivains, intellectuels (vivant tre\u0300s souvent dans la de\u0300che)&#8230; a\u0300 la richesse, l\u2019opulence, et les compromissions qu\u2019ils peuvent faire, en vieillissant, tournant ainsi le dos a\u0300 leurs convictions.<\/p>\n<p>Dr Franklin Nyamsi, philosophe dont la grandiloquence du verbe n\u2019a d\u2019e\u0301gale que la versatilite\u0301 de ses positions politiques (passant de soutien inconditionnel d\u2019Alassane Ouattara au premier pourfendeur de ce dernier avec la me\u0302me facilite\u0301 qu\u2019un footballeur changeant de chaussettes), le philosophe camerounais des lumie\u0300res de Tiktok donc, a rec\u0327u, tel son ance\u0302tre philosophe des Lumie\u0300res, une belle robe e\u0301carlate en guise d\u2019invitation a\u0300 un sommet \u00ab panafricaniste \u00bb a\u0300 Lome\u0301. Il y est parti, attire\u0301, raconte-t-on, par la lourdeur du cachet qui lui est propose\u0301. Et le voila\u0300 donc, dans des capsules vide\u0301o et interviews, parler de tout, parler partout, parler dans tout, sauf du panafricanisme.<\/p>\n<p>Du vrai. Du since\u0300re. Tout comme Diderot changea ses fauteuils, son lit, ses tableaux, sa bibliothe\u0300que, ses chaussures&#8230; juste pour que la beaute\u0301 de sa nouvelle robe e\u0301carlate n\u2019insulta\u0302t point son modeste mobilier, le philosophe camerounais change, a\u0300 Lome\u0301, ses phrases, ses slogans, ses mantras&#8230; ses convictions, pour convenir a\u0300 la volonte\u0301 de ceux qui l\u2019ont invite\u0301.<\/p>\n<p>Dans son essai, Diderot s\u2019est e\u0301crie\u0301: \u00ab Mes amis, craignez l\u2019atteinte de la richesse. La pauvrete\u0301 a ses franchises; l\u2019opulence a sa ge\u0302ne. \u00bb<\/p>\n<p>Le Dr Franklin Nyamsi est un grand e\u0301rudit (c\u2019est la seule raison pour laquelle je l\u2019e\u0301coute souvent), je sais qu\u2019il a lu ce court essai de Diderot, lui qui a lu des volumes de milliers de pages.
