Africa-Press – Uganda. The Mufti of Uganda, Sheikh Shaban Ramadhan Mubaje, has extended his heartfelt congratulations to Ugandan pilgrims for successfully completing the Hajj rituals for the year 2025.
His message was delivered by Dr. Sheikh Ahmad Hamid Wandega, Eastern Regional Assistant in the Office of the Mufti, during a special address to pilgrims at their residence in Manazil Al Fath, Chaza, Makkah.
The briefing, led by Sheikh Al Juma Shiwuyu, the Uganda Muslim Supreme Council (UMSC) Secretary for Hajj and Umrah, took place ahead of the group’s scheduled journey to Madinah on Tuesday, June 10. The pilgrims are expected to spend two days in the Prophet’s city.
In his remarks, Sheikh Wandega offered prayers for national peace and stability, as well as blessings for President Yoweri Kaguta Museveni and His Eminence the Mufti. He concluded with special supplications for the pilgrims and their families.
The pilgrims also performed the farewell circumambulation (Tawaf al-Wada) of the Holy Kaaba marking the final rite of their pilgrimage.
