Africa-Press – Uganda. Kitara Football Club has extended the contracts of its technical team for an additional two years as part of efforts to maintain stability and drive long-term success.
The club also confirmed a reshuffle in the technical leadership structure to align with new requirements set by FUFA.
In the new adjustments, Mr. Lutalo George William, formerly the Assistant Coach, has been promoted to Head Coach, while Mr. Wasswa Bossa will now serve as Assistant Coach.
The reshuffle comes as Coach Bossa prepares to enroll for the CAF A Coaching Course, a mandatory requirement under the FUFA Club Licensing regulations, which take effect this season.
The club emphasized its full support for Bossa’s professional development and commitment to meeting FUFA’s standards.
“Both coaches remain integral to the club’s vision and ambitions. Their roles have simply been adjusted to ensure full compliance while maintaining the strength of our technical setup,” the club stated.
Kitara FC also confirmed that further announcements regarding the backroom staff will be made once internal consultations are complete.
The club expressed gratitude to its supporters and stakeholders for their continued support as preparations for an even stronger season intensify.
