UK Institute Honours Ugandan Marketer, Racheal Ssenyondo

Africa-Press – Uganda. The Chartered Institute of Marketing (CIM) in the UK has named Ugandan marketer, Racheal Ssenyondo as a marketing fellow.

The UK institute bestows such honours to senior marketing professionals with over 10 to 15 years of strategic experience, with at least 5 to 10 years at or near a board or senior consultant level.

Commenting on the milestone, Ssenyondo said, “This recognition is a huge milestone in my 15-year journey in the marketing field, and I can’t help but reflect on how far I’ve come. Growing up in a modest neighborhood in Chicago, I often dreamed of a future that felt out of reach. Those early days taught me that with hard work and determination, anything is possible,” Ssenyondo said.

She hailed the support of her mentors and sponsors who she says were crucial in helping her navigate the challenges of the marketing industry.

“Their support has been crucial in helping me navigate the challenges of the marketing industry. I want to take a moment to thank each one of them; their encouragement has made a real difference in my career, and I hope to pay it forward by mentoring others,” Ssenyondo said.

She said her 15 year journey has taught her important lessons to drive her forward.

“Embracing every opportunity, no matter how small, has been key to my growth. Building relationships with fellow professionals has opened doors I never thought would be available to me, and resilience has been my greatest ally in overcoming obstacles. Each experience has shaped who I am today.”
