Africa-Press – Uganda. The Abryanz Style & Fashion Awards (ASFAs) are set to unveil a new chapter in their legacy with the ASFA Honorary Gala, scheduled for December, 19, 2025 at Kampala Serena Hotel.
This year, the ASFAs are taking a refined approach, shifting from broad award categories to an exclusive, invitation-only black-tie gala.
The event will honor 20 visionary African trailblazers whose contributions have significantly shaped the continent’s fashion, arts, and cultural landscape.
Curated under the theme “A Tribute to African Visionaries Shaping the Future of African Fashion, Arts & Culture,” the Gala promises a glamorous red-carpet experience, high-level networking opportunities for creatives and investors, electrifying performances by local and international artists, and showcases from leading designers.
Barbra Linda, Brand Lead at NRG, the official entertainment sponsor, highlighted the energy and impact the radio station will bring.
She noted, “This is not merely an event—it is a movement aimed at elevating the creative economy. Through our platforms, we amplify emerging voices and connect creatives with opportunities to scale, innovate, and contribute meaningfully to Africa’s cultural and economic growth.”
ASFAs Founder, Brian Ahumuza, popularly known as Abryanz, emphasized the gala’s purpose.
“The ASFAs have always been a movement. This year, we honor the people who have built the foundations for African fashion to stand on. We are not just awarding excellence; we are celebrating legacy, influence, and vision.”
Joram Muzira, CEO of JMM, highlighted the broader impact on African modeling and fashion.
“When models thrive, the entire fashion ecosystem benefits—from designers and stylists to photographers and creative entrepreneurs. This Gala is more than a celebration; it is a launchpad for careers and a catalyst for growth in the African fashion economy,” he explained.
The Gala is produced by Adris Digital Africa, a premier events management and creative agency.
Solomon Muleyi, Creative Director, emphasized the significance of this year’s exclusive approach, stating, “The ASFA Honorary Gala represents a refined evolution. We are celebrating visionaries over categories and sparking conversations that empower Africa’s creative economy.”
The 2025 ASFA Honorary Gala promises to be a milestone event, blending glamour, influence, and purpose.
With its focus on honoring Africa’s most impactful creatives, the gala is poised to cement the ASFAs as not only a celebration of fashion but a movement shaping the future of the continent’s cultural and creative industries.
