Africa-Press – Uganda. Uganda’s President Yoweri Museveni visited Algiers’ Nuclear Research Centre on Monday, on the third day of his state visit to Algeria.
President Museveni was accompanied by the Minister of Energy and Mines, Mohamed Arkab.
The Ugandan president had a one-on-one meeting with the President of the Republic, Abdelmadjid Tebboune, on Sunday, which was later extended to members of the delegations of both countries.
At the end of these meetings, the two Presidents chaired the signing ceremony of two agreements and five memorandums of understanding in several sectors including energy.
President Museveni arrived in Algeria on Saturday as part of a state visit that will last until Tuesday, at the invitation of President Tebboune.
