It’s really exciting to see that our forwards are scoring,” Mutebi said.Defender Denis Iguma’s header which was deflected by Souleyman Bamba from a Moses Aliro free-kick gave the home side a halftime lead in the 39th minute.Sam Ssenyonjo who extended his scoring run made it 2-0 in the 51st minute as the Lugogo side bagged the three points. Ssenyonjo took his tally to five goals. The Kasasiro boys who lost Aliro to injury have now collected nine points from the three games to go top of the league. The Friday encounter was Mbarara City’s third consecutive loss, something that has worried assistant coach Muhammed Kisekka but he has promised to improve.”We are also concerned about the performance but we are optimistic that in the next games we are going to improve. We are going to rectify the mistakes so that we bounce back to our winning ways,” stated Kisekka. When asked what could be the problem with his team, Kisekka put it into a striking crisis.”Our challenge is based on the scoring force. We have not done enough but also some of our forwards like Jude Ssemugabi and Makuweth Wol were not available but we hope in the next games they will be available. We are also concerned about our false start but we are now going to rectify all the mistakes and focus on bouncing back to our winning ways, “he added. The absence of their head coach Brian Ssenyondo who is currently in Rwanda with the Uganda Cubs for the AFCON U17 Qualifiers has also contributed to their poor start.Elsewhere, Busoga United played to 1-1 draw with Kyetunme at FUFA Technical Centre, Njeru. Isma Mugulusi opened the score for Busoga United in the 52nd minute before Mustafa Mujuzi leveled matters for Kyetume in the 65th through a penalty. In Tooro, the home side MYDA lost 2-3 to Onduparaka at King George IV Memorial stadium. Livingston Kabon, Gabriel Matata, Amis Muwonge each had a goal for Onduaparaka while Ibra Nsimbe scored a brace for MYDA. The victory saw Onduaparaka bounce back from the 8-0 defeat they suffered against KCCA FC.
