Africa-Press – Uganda. At least 70 exhibitors are set to participate in the third edition of the Baby and Kids Expo East Africa, scheduled for May 9 to 11, 2025, at the UMA Multipurpose Hall, Lugogo.
Running under the theme, “Strengthening Families Through Healthcare, Growth, and Zero Violence,” this year’s expo will bring together over 70 exhibitors showcasing a diverse range of products and services designed to support children’s health, development, and family well-being.
The expo will also feature a compelling lineup of expert-led discussions and keynote sessions from renowned figures designed to address the real issues facing modern families.
Officials said families attending can also look forward to a rich lineup of children’s activities aimed at entertainment and creative engagement.
Highlights will include gymnastics and dance shows, kids’ fashion showcases, live music by young performers, interactive play zones, face painting, storytelling, and hands-on art stations — all designed to offer children a fun, safe, and stimulating environment throughout the expo.
Addressing journalists in Kampala, Joweria Nabuuma, Managing Director of Kiara Events Limited said this year’s expo will be an extraodrinary one.
“ The Baby and Kids Expo is more than a marketplace — it’s a movement for healthier, safer, and more empowered families. With over 70 exhibitors, engaging discussions, and unforgettable children’s activities, we’re looking forward to making this year’s edition the most impactful yet,” Nabuuma said.
She said the expo has grown from being simple platform where parents, caregivers, and industry leaders could find everything they need to raise happy, healthy children to something big.
“Three editions later, we are proud to say that the Baby and Kids Expo has grown — not just in size, but in its impact. It has grown into something that strengthens families through healthcare, growth, and the promotion of safe, nurturing environments for our children.”
Diana Kajumba, the Director of Kids Nook, added, “The expo is always a highlight for us. We’re excited to meet families, share new products, and deliver an experience that is memorable. We’re preparing exciting discounts and live demonstrations that will truly add value to every visitor’s journey.”
