Africa-Press – Uganda. <\/strong><\/span>As the Rotary Club of Kigo Seven Lakes Golf rolls out its 2025\/26 agenda, it is clear this is not just a leadership change; it\u2019s a renewed commitment to transformational service.<\/b><\/p>\n

The club is doubling down on three cornerstone projects aimed at uplifting vulnerable communities through education, maternal healthcare, and accessible medical support.<\/p>\n

Kigo Prisons Primary School \u2013 A Signature Project in Education<\/p>\n

At the heart of the club\u2019s flagship initiatives is Kigo Prisons Primary School, where Rotary has been consistently delivering real impact.<\/p>\n

In their most recent intervention, the club donated scholastic materials worth Shs 20 million, including 400 books, school bags, mathematical sets, and other essentials all benefiting over 700 pupils.<\/p>\n

This project is more than a donation drive; it\u2019s a long-term commitment to nurturing future generations.<\/p>\n

\u201cThis school is not just a project; it\u2019s a promise we\u2019ve made to our community,\u201d says Club President Kin Kariisa, whose leadership is turning bold service ideas into meaningful outcomes.<\/p>\n

Mama Kariisa Maternity Ward \u2013Honoring Legacy, Saving Lives<\/p>\n

The second major initiative is deeply personal and profoundly impactful.<\/p>\n

In Rubaare, Ntungamo District the birthplace of Kin Kariisa the club has laid the foundation for a state-of-the-art maternity ward at Rubare Health Centre IV, named in honor of Mama Kariisa, the late mother of the club\u2019s current president.<\/p>\n

Mama Kariisa Maternity Ward is a tribute to maternal love and strength, aiming to improve maternal and neonatal care for thousands of women in the region.<\/p>\n

Construction is well underway, and once complete, the facility is expected to be a game-changer in rural healthcare delivery.<\/p>\n

Ongoing Medical Camps \u2013 Healing Hands Where They’re Needed Most Continuing its commitment to health access, the club will also maintain regular medical camps, offering critical health services in underserved communities.<\/p>\n

From general check-ups to specialist care, these camps provide life-saving interventions to hundreds, free of charge.<\/p>\n

These camps are organized in collaboration with local health professionals and partner organizations, emphasizing preventive care and early diagnosis.<\/p>\n
