Former Juventus and Inter midfielder Patrick Vieira doubts Italy will go all the way in Euro 2020. \u2018There\u2019s a lack of intensity, power and pace\u2019.<\/p>\n

The World Cup and European Championship winner was not convinced after Italy followed up the win over Turkey with another 3-0 triumph over Switzerland on Wednesday.<\/p>\n

Manuel Locatelli\u2019s brace and Ciro Immobile\u2019s late finish secured six points from two games and thus continued Italy\u2019s perfect start to Euro 2020.<\/p>\n

But former France international Vieira feels something is still missing for Roberto Mancini\u2019s men.<\/p>\n

\u201cI think the first two games that they played were two easy games,\u201d Vieira told ITV after the game. \u201cOf course\u2026 you have to [beat] what is in front of you, but I still have doubts they can go to the end. \u201cI believe that they lack intensity, lack power, pace, to be even more dangerous going forward, so I\u2019m still going to wait.<\/p>\n

\u201cI think it\u2019s still a bit too early to take Italy into consideration that they can go to the end.\u201d<\/p>\n

Verratti return<\/b><\/p>\n

Locatelli wants to share his good fortune with the whole Italy team and hopes Marco Verratti \u2018can come back soon.\u2019\u201cI have to share this (Man of the Match) award (against Switzerland) with the whole team,\u201d 23-year-old Locatelli told RAI Sport. \u201cI am one of the youngest here, they welcomed me so well and it\u2019s wonderful to be here with them.\u201d<\/p>\n

Locatelli is only playing because PSG star Verratti is injured but he doesn\u2019t consider himself untouchable after this brace.<\/p>\n
