Africa-Press<\/a> – Uganda<\/a>. <\/strong><\/span>Opposition Chief Whip, Mr John Baptist Nambeshe early Saturday survived what he described as a \u2018\u2018horrible accident.\u2019\u2019<\/p>\n

The Eastern opposition National Unity Platform (NUP) party Deputy President told Daily Monitor in an interview that the accident was severe but no one died.<\/p>\n

\u2018\u2018Some of the doors of my car cannot even open. Word and suspicion has it that the accident was a set up. It was not fatal but the one who knocked me and horribly hit my car got seriously injured,\u2019\u2019 he told Daily Monitor on phone.<\/p>\n

The legislator said the misfortune occurred at Mbiiko, near the Nile Bridge, Njeru Municipality- in a place formerly part of Buikwe District.<\/p>\n

\u2018\u2018I was going to my constituency (Manjiya County, Bududa District) as it is my routine to go there especially on weekends to perform my duties,\u2019\u2019 he said.<\/p>\n

However, Mr Nambeshe told Daily Monitor that he was \u2018\u2018feeling okay\u2019\u2019 but he\u2019s been urged to \u2018\u2018seek medical attention.\u2019\u2019<\/p>\n

\u2018\u2018I am rushing to a hospital now because a physician told me I need to do more tests to be sure if I didn\u2019t suffer a blood clot or other similar conditions,\u2019\u2019 he disclosed.<\/p>\n
