Africa-Press – Uganda. <\/strong><\/span>Days after welcoming a daughter with wife Sumaiyah Chuni Nakyeyune, URA skipper Shafik Kagimu has returned from the brief paternity leave to command the tax collectors against Onduparaka at the Green Light this afternoon.<\/p>\n

Sam Timbe\u2019s URA lag eighth on the StarTimes Uganda Premier League table with 13 points from eight matches and have been less inspiring and disillusioned in Kagimu\u2019s absence.<\/p>\n

\u201cI have been missing leading this team. We are going to correct the wrongs and I hope the coaches choose me to play,\u201d Kagimu told Daily Monitor.<\/p>\n

With all the pride and ecstasy that comes with being a first-time dad, Kagimu thanked \u2018Allah\u2019 for the new found joy, hastily adding it will push him to work harder.<\/p>\n

\u201cAs the Islam tradition dictates, I\u2019m waiting to name my daughter after seven days. All I can say now, is that mum and the girl are in good health,\u201d he elatedly revealed.<\/p>\n

After helping the four-time league kings overcome Vipers in Kitende, Kagimu\u2019s creativity, agility and push has missed as URA drew with SC Villa and Express in the last two matches.<\/p>\n

\u201cKagimu drives the team forward and we have been missing that.The team also missed goalkeeper Nafian Alionzi\u2019s defence command,\u201d Timbe said after the 0-0 draw with the Red Eagles last week.<\/p>\n

The veteran coach believes it is time URA started winning matches to catch up with runaway leaders KCCA.<\/p>\n

\u201cIf we work on our finishing in front of goal and confidence, we will start getting wins and climb up the table,\u201d he added.<\/p>\n

With defender Paul Mbowa and winger Joachim Ojera now fully fit, URA will seek to dismantle George Lutalo\u2019s inconsistent Onduparaka, 11th on the table with 10 points from ten matches.<\/p>\n

The Caterpillars\u2019 over reliance on forward Muhammad Shaban has cost them this season as Lutalo struggles to get another goal route.<\/p>\n

At Wankulukuku, reigning champions Express are up against Peter Onen\u2019s Gaddafi that floored SC Villa in their last match.<\/p>\n

Wasswa Bbosa\u2019s Red Eagles are sixth with 16 points with the Soldier Boys are 10th.<\/p>\n
