Africa-Press – Uganda. <\/strong><\/span>Veteran midfielder Tony Mawejje\u2019s new player-coach role at troubled Police will involve coaching as well as playing but he is adamant the emphasis will be on the latter.<\/p>\n

Mawejje carefully spells out that Abdallah Mubiru\u2019s temporary replacement John Luyinda will be the man to brew tactics and formations and him as the skipper, to make sure they are implemented.<\/p>\n

\u201cThe players have moved on from the news of coach Mubiru\u2019s exit and with a right frame of mind, we believe everything is possible,\u201d he added.<\/p>\n

Mawejje hinted on why he may not delve into full time coach after his swansong season.<\/p>\n

\u201cAfter witnessing the demeaning manner in which Ugandan coaches are treated, I will retire into coach academy players,\u201d he revealed.<\/p>\n
