Africa-Press – Uganda. <\/strong><\/span>Bul earned another shot at the Stanbic Uganda Cup trophy and a chance to exact revenge on Vipers after easing past Boomato a 6-1 aggregate victory over regional league side Booma yesterday.<\/p>\n

The StarTimes Uganda Premier League outfit won the second leg of the semi-final 1-0 at the Kyabazinga Stadium in a dull affair to add to their 5-1 rout last week.<\/p>\n

Vipers routed Bul 8-0 in last season\u2019s anticlimactic final, a first for the latter. They will surely feel they can do a lot better than last April.<\/p>\n

Coach Alex Isabiryre had the luxury of making nine changes to his side ahead of the league climax this Saturday. Bul could finish as high as third.<\/p>\n

It was Karim Ndugwa\u2019s goal, his seventh of this year\u2019s run, which proved decisive in the 10th minute. He nodded home Ivan Wanis cross after a fine run on the left by the winger.<\/p>\n

No comeback<\/p>\n

There was no chance of a comeback. \u201cWe\u2019ve fought hard to reach this stage and want to go and make amends in the final this time,\u201d Isabirye said after the match.<\/p>\n

This pairing was arguably Booma\u2019s toughest test after they overcame somewhat weaker opponents in Nyamityobora, Kajjansi United, Tipsa and Maroons in the early stages.<\/p>\n

\u201cThis was a rather tough test for us compared to the previous games because we were away for the first time and against a team that has really been on form,\u201d Booma coach Fred Arinaitwe said.<\/p>\n

\u201cThe result from the first leg demoralised the boys and made it very hard for us to plan for this game even though we\u2019ve improved.\u201d<\/p>\n

The final will be played on June 18 at the Masindi Municipal Stadium.<\/p>\n
