{"id":32731,"date":"2022-06-19T17:45:37","date_gmt":"2022-06-19T17:45:37","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/www.africa-press.net\/uganda\/all-news\/govt-to-set-up-vocational-institutions-in-each-district"},"modified":"2022-06-19T17:55:55","modified_gmt":"2022-06-19T17:55:55","slug":"govt-to-set-up-vocational-institutions-in-each-district","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/www.africa-press.net\/uganda\/all-news\/govt-to-set-up-vocational-institutions-in-each-district","title":{"rendered":"Govt to set up vocational institutions in each district"},"content":{"rendered":"<p><span style=\"color: #ff6600\"><strong>Africa-Press &#8211; Uganda. <\/strong><\/span>The Vice President, Ms Jessica Alupo, has revealed that the government harbours plans to establish vocational training institutes in each district as a way of upholding Technical Vocational Education and Training (TVET).<\/p>\n<p>\u201cI appeal to education stakeholders to embrace vocational skills because it\u2019s the way to go.
