Africa-Press – Uganda. <\/strong><\/span>Kitara will seek to reclaim top spot in the Startimes Uganda Premier League when they face Wakiso Giants on Wednesday at the Kabaka Kyabaggu Stadium in Wakiso.<\/b><\/p>\n

But for now top spot belongs to Bul who continued their winning start to the campaign with a 2-1 victory at Muteesa II Stadium in Wankulukuku on Tuesday.<\/p>\n

The result means they moved to 15 points and are one of only two sides remaining with a perfect record edging Kitara who have played a game less.<\/p>\n

The run has been built on a strong defensive unit and collective effort as well a making the most of set piece situations.<\/p>\n

All those qualities came into play yesterday as George Kasonko connected with a Ronald Otti header from a corner on 34 minutes.<\/p>\n

The second goal arrived in similar fashion three minutes later with Otti heading in at the far post from a Jerome Kirya corner.<\/p>\n

Villa did pull a goal back on 63 minutes through Umar Lutalo following a fine team move but a full comeback never truly materialized.<\/p>\n

It was another frustrating result for Villa whose goalkeeper Norman Angufindru is still a work in progress and remains vulnerable at crosses.<\/p>\n

It will also put pressure on Serbian coach Dusan Stojanovic whose team have won just once in five games picking up five points.<\/p>\n

In Jinja, a 10-man Busoga United grabbed three points and bragging rights in Jinja after gunning down Gaddafi 1-0 through Isaac Doka Mweru’s strike in the dying minutes of the first-half at the Gaddafi Arena.<\/p>\n

Mweru and his partner Basham Mugwa caught the Soldier Boys flat-footed before taking on Willis Otong in a one-on-one which the latter fired to the far post.<\/p>\n

Busoga finished the fixture with ten men after their captain Charles Mulanda earned a send-off and will probably attract the wrath of the Fufa Competitions Disciplinary panel after head-butting the centre referee Tumusiime Tuge.<\/p>\n

The derby victory lifts Busoga to eighth with seven points as Gaddafi remains 12th with only three.<\/p>\n
