Africa-Press – Zambia. Zambian DNA has noted in the recent past how some section of society have gone viral issuing divisive statements that are detrimental to unity and peace in the country.
However, every Zambian should demonstrate his or her patriotism by fostering unity and peace in the country. It’s worth noting that we are all Zambian citizens regardless of our religious or political affiliation.
More so, ethnic or regional attachments should be used to promote unity in diversity and not to divide the country. It’s for these reasons why we should all strive as patriotic citizens to do the best for the country, and make Zambia the success story we all desire.
Further, we should demonstrate our commitment to the country by working hard in whatever capacity we serve the nation. In view of the foregoing, we urge politicians to unite and not divide, build and not destroy the country. We also call upon the clergy, traditional leaders, civil society leaders and ordinary citizens to help foster unity and peace in the country.
