Africa-Press – Zambia. THERE is no money in circulation because the government is failing to dismantle local debtors perceived to be PF sympathisers, leader of the opposition in Parliament Brian Mundubile has said.
Mr Mundubile reminded Government that its resolve not to pay local contractors and suppliers is costing the country’s economy. He said government should have prioritised the need to dismantle the local debt to save the economy from collapsing.
“There is no money in circulation because suppliers and contractors are not paid. This is punishing your own people of course.
“The cost of living in the previous government was high but in the past six months we have seen an unprecedented increment,” Mr Mundubile said.
