Africa-Press – Zambia. The Joint Investigations Team over the weekend searched former PF National Youth Chairperson, and former Kasama Central Member of Parliament, Kelvin Mutale Sampa’s home and farm in Kasama.
The officers picked up and detained the caretaker, to help with investigations. Sampa was not re-adopted by the PF but defected to UPND shortly after the PF lost power.
The JIT allege that from their information Sampa could be among those holding illicit cash from the previous elections. The team also searched former PF National Chairperson, Ngonga Samuel Mukupa. When contacted for a comment, Mr. Sampa said he was out of the country and would comment when he returns home.
