Africa-Press – Zambia. Diesel will effective midnight become the most expensive fuel in the midst of the Energy Regulations Board announcing a reduction in the pump prices. The new pump prices per litre are 24 kwacha 15 ngwee for Petrol, while diesel will be sold at 25 kwacha 64.
Kerosene will now be selling at 19 kwacha 32 ngwee. ERB Chairperaon Reynolds Bowa says Petrol has been reduced by K2.35 while diesel will have a price cut of 58 ngwee while kerosene has a price reduction of 56 ngwee.
And the Energy Regulation Board has confirmed receiving a report on what is supposed to be the cost of electricity. Mr. Bowa says a report was received from the contractor and it has been submitted to the Ministry of Energy for comment before the public can be informed.
