Africa-Press – Zambia. Chambishi has continued their poor start to the season while Nchanga Rangers and Power Dynamos dropped their first points of the 2022/2023 campaign. Chambishi suffered their third loss of the season following a 3-2 loss away in Mazabuka at the hands of newcomers FC MUZA.
Sydney Kasanda, Kondwani Mhango ,and Rickson Ng’ambi scored for MUZA while Innocent Kashita and Kelvin Chomba found the back of the net for Chambishi.
At Nchanga Stadium, Nchanga Rangers have continued their stay at the summit of the log table despite dropping their first points as they could only settle for a barren draw with Green Buffaloes.
In Choma, Power Dynamos suffered their first loss of the campaign losing 1-0 to the Kawale Boys, Green Eagles. Amity Shamende’s 82nd minute strike was enough to seal victory for Aggrey Chiyangi’s men.
At Edwin Imboela, Numba Mumamba’s ZESCO United have finally recorded their first win of the season edging Nkwazi 1-0. Substitute Keziron Kizito scored the only goal of the game in the 81st minute.
In Lumwana, Daniel Adoko was very unfortunate to put the ball in the back of his own net as Lumwana Radiants returned to winning ways, 1-0 the match ended.
NAPSA Stars will continue their search for a first win as they head into week four when they host Green Eagles in Lusaka. Buildcon and Forest Rangers played out to a 1-1 draw in a Ndola derby at Levy Mwanawasa Stadium.
