Africa-Press – Zambia. Vice President Mutale Nalumango says the government has not yet began proceedings to prosecute former president Edgar Lungu. She was responding to queries during vice president’s question time in parliament.
Nalumango said enough evidence against Lungu has to be established first before a call for lifting of his immunity is made. Recently, the country’s investigative wings stormed Lungu’s property alleging proceeds of crime probe. Lungu is believed to have benefited from illegal activities.
