Africa-Press – Zambia. AFTER failing to win any of their last five games, Kitwe giants Nkana FC will seek redemption when they take on Prison Leopards in a Week-9 MTN/FAZ Super League fixture at President Stadium in Kabwe.
Nkana who have only managed to get two points from the last five games where they have recorded three defeats and one draw will fight for maximum three points as they attempt to escape the relegation Zone.
After eight rounds of matches, Nkana sit on 16th position with six points collected from one win, three draws and four defeats. Nkana coach Best on Chambeshi will rely on experienced Alex Ngonga, Derrick Mukombozi and Zimbabwean international, Thabani Kamusoko to help Nkana win their second of the season.
With Diamond Chikwekwe still banned by the federation, Jacob Ngulube is expected to captain the Kitwe giants who are in desperate need of a win away from home.
Nkana will however need to come up with a perfect plan to stop the Prison Leopards striking trio of Landu Miete, David Obash and Lubinda Mundia who have scored 12 goals in 12 games.
The Albert Kachinga drilled Prison Leopards will fight to maintain their unbeaten record in the Super League after picking four wins and four draws in the first eight games.
Coach Albert Kachinga is likely to maintain goal keeper Jeff Lungu between the sticks after conceding only six goals in eight games. In defence, Zephania Phiri, Zachariah Chilongoshi, Francis Debrah and captain Freddie Mushindi may be assigned to deal with Nkana’s problematic upfront. Langson Kapumbu, Damiano Phiri and Francis Zulu may start in midfield while Landu Miete, Lubinda Mundia and Obashi are likely to start upfront.
