Africa-Press – Zambia. In a bid to supplement Government’s efforts to increase value addition industries as the key to economic transformation, a subsidiary of Trade Kings Group, Bigtree has launched Cornflakes breakfast cereal as part of its recent repositioning and portfolio.
Speaking at the launch, Trade Kings Group public and corporate affairs manager Bridget Kambobe said the launch had come at a time when there’s increased export-led industrialisation as well the government’s calls to increase value addition.
Speaking at the same event, the Indaba Research Agriculture Institute executive director Chance Kabaghe said the launch of the product calls for farmers to increase the production of yellow maize, used in the production of the cereal.
