Africa-Press – Zambia. Fashion Sakala played 25 minutes in his return from injury match under new boss Michael Beale. Sakala was introduced in the 46th minute but withdrawn in the 71st minute by Beale, the former Number 2 to Steven Gerrard, in a friendly match Rangers won 3-0 against Bayer Leverkusen in Glasgow.
A first-half double from Malik Tillman and a late strike from Scott Arfield saw the Light Blues seal victory under Beale’s first match in the Ibrox dugout as manager. Sakala will hope for more game time under Beale after finding the going tough under Gerrard’s replacement the sacked Giovanni van Bronckhorst.
