Africa-Press – Zambia. THE Ministry of Mines and Minerals Development has granted Larnoth Limited a four year mineral exploration license for the exploration of coal in Sompani Ward of Gwembe District.
Speaking when he visited Sompani Ward on Saturday, Company Representative Tumbe Haston said granting of the license is a milestone that will enable his company to commence mining activities in the area.
Haston believes mining operations will create jobs not only for Sompani Ward but the entire District as a whole. He expressed gratitude that the license has finally been granted, saying everything that has been holding the company back from starting exploration works has been resolved.
