Africa-Press – Zambia. MATERO PF member of parliament Miles Sampa says he is in consultation with his lawyers over his intentions to withdraw his bail sureties for PF vice-president Given Lubinda and former Intercity-stationed cadre Francis Muchemwa.
Last week, the Immigration Department nabbed Lumezi Independent member of parliament Munir Zulu, who was Kaizer Zulu’s bail surety for contempt of court. Commenting on this in an interview, Sampa said he would no longer risk going to jail for people who were ungrateful.
“With experience now, we’ve seen that it’s highly risky, who knew that Kaizer Zulu would betray Munir? Secondly, I didn’t even know that the Bible speaks against it, and I’m a devout Christian in a Christian nation…….
