Africa-Press – Zambia. Government has expressed disappointment with the performance of the Chipolopolo boys following their early exit from the 2025 AFCON tournament.
Sports Minister ELVIS NKANDU says Government is unhappy with the national team’s showing at the continental competition.
NKANDU says the team needs to be reorganised after the exit, noting that the players failed to display the expected character, patriotism and sense of responsibility.
He says Zambia’s failure to record a single win and collecting only two points from a possible nine represents a poor outcome for a country that has previously won the Africa Cup of Nations.
