Africa-Press – Zambia. More than 900,000 kwacha has been spent on the purchase of a tractor and trailer in Lusaka’s Kanyama Township to support waste collection efforts.
The equipment was procured using the 2025 Constituency Development Fund -CDF.
Speaking during the handover ceremony, area Member of Parliament MONTY CHINKULI said the acquisition will improve cleanliness in Kanyama.
Meanwhile, Kanyama CDF Committee Chairperson MAGDALENE CHILOMBO urged community members to take ownership of the equipment to ensure its proper use and maintenance.
