Africa-Press – Zambia. <\/strong><\/span>Kanye West has said that he is converting all of his houses into churches. During a lengthy interview with culture magazine 032c, the \u2018DONDA\u2019 rapper spoke of how society needs to progress. \u201cWe are under capitalist rule, and it\u2019s killing us,\u201d he said. \u201cIt\u2019s time to change that.\u201d<\/p>\n

He continued \u201cI\u2019m going to be homeless in a year. I\u2019m going to turn all the homes I own into churches. We\u2019re making this orphanage, and it will be a place where anyone can go.\u201d<\/p>\n

\u201cIt should be like an artist commune. Food should always be available.\u201d<\/p>\n

Elsewhere in the chat, the star touched upon an upcoming planned performance piece called \u2018The Funeral Rehearsal Of Kanye West\u2019 and admitted that he\u2019s got a \u201cdrop of corniness\u201d to himself.<\/p>\n

West recently outlined his plans to tackle homelessness and hunger in Los Angeles. He is reportedly looking at using his own companies to provide education, jobs and housing to those in need.<\/p>\n

Ye vowed to \u201ccure homelessness and hunger\u201d in the US during his 2020 presidential campaign last November. \u201cWe will cure hunger,\u201d he wrote on Twitter at the time. \u201cThere are people sleeping in parking lots.\u201d<\/p>\n

He added \u201cI was just speaking with someone that told me their life story and they used to be homeless. We must and will cure homelessness and hunger. We have the capability as a species.\u201d<\/p>\n

West created prototypes for an ambitious housing project to ease homelessness in LA back in 2019. However, the dome structures were torn down after it was alleged that the rapper didn\u2019t have the proper permits. He later shared plans to build an eco-village and children\u2019s ranch using the same domes.<\/p>\n
