Africa-Press<\/a> – Zambia<\/a>. <\/strong><\/span>The ruling Patriotic Front (PF) Vice Chairperson for Mobilisation Geoffrey Bwalya Mwamba has dispelled claims by Chief Mukuni that he, His Excellency President Dr Edgar Chagwa Lungu\u2019s running mate Professor Nkandu Luo and Mr Chishimba Kambwili are tribalits.<\/p>\n

Mr Mwamba says the sentiments by the traditional leader are false and baseless. He says the trio are not tribalists but they only tell Zambians the truth.<\/p>\n

In an interview, Mr Mwamba who is also PF Northern Province Presidential campaign Manager says he respect Chief Mukuni therefore he cannot attack him in any way.<\/p>\n

He says the challenge with Chief Mukuni is that he cannot accept that the trio have been telling Zambians the truth of what happened in 2016 general elections.<\/p>\n

\u201cIf we tell Zambians that people in Southern vote for HH because he comes from there is that tribalism. These are the facts,\u201d he says.<\/p>\n

Mr Mwamba says he, Prof Luo and Mr Kambwili advising people from Muchinga, Luapula and Northern to support their tribal cousin President Dr Lungu it is not championing tribalism because his their own. He says it is disheartening that the traditional leader always talks about tribalism which is a catalyst for causing confusion in the country.<\/p>\n

Chief Mukuni was quoted in some section of the media stating that Mr Mwamba, Prof Luo and Mr Kambwili must not be allowed at His Excellency President Dr Kenneth Kaunda\u2019s funeral because they are tribalists.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"
