Mr. Musukuma said PF has the best manifesto to make Zambia progress in the next five years under President Edgar Lungu.<\/p>\n

GREETINGS TO YOU ALL FELLOW ZAMBIANS.<\/p>\n

KINDLY ALLOW ME TO START BY PASSING MY HEARTFELT CONDOLENCES TO THE KAUNDA FAMILY AND THE NATION ON THE DEMISE OF OUR COUNTRY\u2019S FIRST PRESIDENT AND FOUNDING FATHER DR KENNETH DAVID BUCHIZYA KAUNDA (MHSRIEP). FURTHER, ABOUT THE RISING COVID 19 CASES AND DEATHS IN OUR COUNTRY, PERMIT ME TO APPEAL TO EACH AND EVERY ZAMBIAN OUT THERE TO STRICTLY OBSERVE ALL THE COVID 19 GUIDELINES AND STAY ALIVE. MAY THE SOULS OF ALL THOSE WE HAVE LOST TO THIS DEADLY PANDEMIC REST IN ETERNAL PEACE. TOGETHER AND GOD WITH THIS NATION, WE SHALL CONQUER COVID 19.<\/p>\n

AS MOST OF YOU ARE AWARE, I FILED-IN MY NOMINATION ON 17TH MAY, 2021 TO CONTEST THE CHAWAMA PARLIAMENTARY SEAT IN LUSAKA DISTRICT ON THE LEADERSHIP MOVEMENT PARTY (LMP) TICKET AHEAD OF THE 12TH AUGUST, 2021 GENERAL ELECTIONS. I HEREBY REGRET TO NOTIFY YOU ALL THAT I HAVE WITH IMMEDIATE EFFECT RESIGNED FROM MY POSITIONS AS LMP CHAWAMA CONSTITUENCY PARLIAMENTARY CANDIDATE AS WELL AS CONSTITUENCY CHAIRPERSON AND RE-JOINED THE RULING PATRIOTIC FRONT (PF) PARTY. I AM SAYING RE-JOINED BECAUSE I ONCE WAS A MEMBER OF THE PF FROM 2001 WHEN THE PARTY WAS JUST FORMED BY THE LATE MICHAEL CHILUFYA SATA (MHSRIEP) ALL THE WAY UPTO THE YEAR 2019. THEREFORE, LIKE THE BIBLE\u2019S PRODIGAL SON, I HAVE SIMPLY RETURNED HOME.<\/p>\n

THIS DECISION HAS BEEN MADE BECAUSE OF MY RATIONAL RESOLVE TO RE-JOIN THE MIGHTY PF PARTY, SUPPORT OUR PRESIDENTIAL CANDIDATE DR EDGAR CHAGWA LUNGU AND ALL THE PF CANDIDATES.<\/p>\n

I AM CONVINCED THAT THIS DECISION IS IN THE BEST INTEREST OF THE PEOPLE OF CHAWAMA CONSTITUENCY IN PARTICULAR AND THE NATION OF ZAMBIA AT LARGE IN VIEW OF THE SECOND-TO-NONE PROGRESSIVE POLICY PROPOSALS OUTLINED IN THE 2021-2026 PF MANIFESTO WHICH ALL WELL-MEANING ZAMBIANS SHOULD SUPPORT FOR CONTINUED DEVELOPMENT.<\/p>\n
