Africa-Press – Zambia. <\/strong><\/span>Local Government and Rural Development Minister Gary Nkombo says disrupting parliamentary proceedings is a serious offence that attracts sanctions by the house.<\/p>\n

The Patriotic Front is up in arms after 30 of its Members of Parliament were suspended from parliament for 30 days for disrupting parliamentary proceedings in the house.<\/p>\n

But Mr Nkombo says there is nothing irregular about the speaker slapping a 30 days suspension because he was punished before for a similar case. Mr Nkombo has urged the suspended MPs to reflect on their dishonorable conduct while serving their 30 days suspension.<\/p>\n
