Africa-Press – Zambia. <\/strong><\/span>PATRIOTIC Front (PF) Kabushi Member of Parliament Bowman Chilosha Lusambo has implored leaders to be truthful whenever they have been given an opportunity to Govern. Hon Lusambo said telling lies while having been entrusted with the position of leadership always backfires.<\/p>\n

Hon Lusambo was speaking as Guest of Honour during the Boys brigade Enrolment and Rededication Service at the United Church of Zambia (UCZ) , Lubuto Congregation in Kabushi Constituency.<\/p>\n

The Kabushi lawmaker recited Proverbs 29:2 as he gave a Word of encouragement to the congregants. \u201cUbutungulushi ubo bwiminine pa chishinka, abantu balasekelamo. Ubutungulushi bwiminine Pabufi, abantu balaba ababulanda\u201d.<\/p>\n

And Hon Lusambo has called for mind-set change among citizens if the country is to develop. Hon Lusambo says developing a country does not depends on change of Government or leaders but heavily depends on the mind-set of people.<\/p>\n

He has also stressed the importance of National Values and Principles in the development of the country. \u201cNational values and principles are the anchors of this nation. We are aware that the New Dawn Administration is promoting national values and principles like we were doing in the under PF regime,\u201d he said.<\/p>\n

He said the country cannot move forward without inculcating the national values into the young people. Hon Lusambo has since called on the church to groom the children in a positive way so that they become good leaders.<\/p>\n

Meanwhile, Boys Brigade Chaplain Rev Friday Sinkonde (Lt) thanked Hon Lusambo for his continuous support to the Church and the community. \u201cHon Lusambo has done a lot for the community. The Instruments used by the Boys Brigade, the Water Tank benefiting the community and other Church instruments \u2013 this is the man who facilitated for those things,\u201d he said.<\/p>\n
