Africa-Press – Zambia. <\/strong><\/span>Mr Ngwira said the new dawn administration should stop being a coward by beating about the bush and face the former Head of State if they think he committed a crime.<\/p>\n

\u201cStop beating about the bush and face the person you intend to harass,\u201d Mr. Ngwira said. He said it was sad to see those closer to Mr. Lungu, such as his family being harassed left right and centre by the investigative wings.<\/p>\n

Mr. Ngwira said after being challenged through her lawyers that actually the properties in question are hers, the security wings have decided to change the narrative by claiming that the said properties have no titles.<\/p>\n

He said, \u201cone wonders how because at first they said the titles show Esther Nyawa Tembo.\u201d Mr. Ngwira said the harassment of the former first family was politically-motivated, and a desperate attempt to implicate Mr. Lungu.<\/p>\n

\u201cCould they be targeting to emotionally drain the former Head of State? Could it be that they don\u2019t want the Head of State to live? Or could it be that their target is the former Head of State?\u201d Mr Ngwira asked.<\/p>\n

He added, \u201cIf maybe their target is the former Head of State in terms of prosecution, why can\u2019t they go to him direct? And if anything, didn\u2019t they hear ACC informing the nation that actually the former Head of State is not linked to any criminality this far?\u201d Mr Ngwira warned that the precedence that the current regime was creating is dangerous and it would haunt them in future.<\/p>\n
