Africa-Press – Zambia. <\/strong><\/span>The former ruling party Patriotic Front PF says State House is the force behind Electoral Commission of Zambia (ECZ) boss Patrick Nshindano\u2019s departure.<\/p>\n

\u201cWe should remember that State House Assistant for Politics, Levy Ngoma and Home Affairs Permanent Secretary, Josephs Akafumba were caught plotting ECZ Patrick Nshindano\u2019s downfall,\u201d says PF.<\/p>\n

These comments came after ECZ announced that Nshindano will be leaving the Commission, a decision made through mutual agreement. The Commission did not disclose the reason behind Nshindano\u2019s departure.<\/p>\n

Meanwhile, PF has also accused the government of firing competent people like Nshindano while protecting others like Mary Chirwa whose morals have come under scrutiny over a leaked pornographic video.<\/p>\n
