Africa-Press – Zambia. <\/strong><\/span>African football icon Barbra Banda is expected to claim two awards at the 2022 Cosafa Cup. The 23 year old livewire has been in scintillating in the South Africa.<\/p>\n

The Copper Queens has been banging in goals for fun. Having missed Zambia\u2019s impressive WAFCON run in Morocco, Banda has returned to international football with a bang.<\/p>\n

Banda has scored in each of Zambia\u2019s four matches at the tournament so far. Banda opened her Cosafa account with a brace against Namibia in the opening fixture before hitting 5 goals in the 7-0 demolishing of Lesotho.<\/p>\n

She then grabbed a goal each in Zambia\u2019s win over Eswatini and Tanzania to take her tally for the tournament to 9 goals. With Zambia facing Banyana Banyana in the final on Sunday, Banda is set to walk away with both the Player of the Tournament and Top scorer awards.<\/p>\n
