Africa-Press – Zambia. <\/strong><\/span>NATIONAL Democratic Congress Party (NDC) leader Saboi Imboela has called on investigative wings to act on the Auditor General\u2019s report which revealed misuse of K2 billion between 2017 and 2021.<\/b><\/p>\n

Ms Imboela told Millennium TV news in an interview that there is need to prosecute those who have been mismanaging taxpayers\u2019 money. She said corruption is not only done by politicians like ministers but also by civil servants such as permanent secretaries and directors in ministries.<\/p>\n

Ms Imboela also said Zambians deserve to know who has been benefitting from their money which could be used for other important things in the country.<\/p>\n

She said as long as the law enforcement agencies do not prosecute those accountable, the Auditor General\u2019s report will continue to be nothing but just a report.<\/p>\n
