Africa-Press – Zambia. <\/strong><\/span>The Zambia Police have summoned some Patriotic Front Members to appear before the Force Headquarters at 14hours. Among them is Acting Party President Given Lubinda, Chairperson for Information and Publicity Raphael Nakacinda, his deputy Emmanuel Mwamba and Canisius Banda.<\/p>\n

Emmanuel Mwamba tells Diamond News that it is the third time that the team is being summoned. He speculates that the summons could be in relation to statements issued by the said PF officials over the death of Former Kabwe Central Member of Parliament Tutwa Ngulube.- Diamond TV<\/p>\n

URGENT MEDIA NOTICE Lusaka-22nd December 2022 The Zambia Police have insisted that the Patriotic Front, Acting President, Hon. Given Lubinda and 3 Others must appear for investigations today, 22nd December, 2022 at 14;30 without fail.<\/p>\n

Lawyers, Makebi Zulu Advocates for the PF officials, wrote to the Inspector General of Police that they were unavailable until next week as they are engaged with electoral petitions on the Copperbelt.<\/p>\n

However the Police have insisted that the officials must appear with or without legal representation. To this effect, Hon Given Lubinda, Dr. Canisius Banda, Amb. Emmanuel Mwamba and Hon. Raphael Nakacinda will appear at Police Force Headquarters at 14;30hrs.<\/p>\n
