Africa-Press – Zambia. <\/strong><\/span>FORMER Konkola Copper Mines (KCM) Provisional liquidator, Milingo Lungu has asked three of the newly appointed Constitutional Court judges to recuse themselves from handling his matter.<\/p>\n

Lungu says the Judges are conflicted as they are among individuals his law firm through his clients Makalu and Isaac Mwanza challenged their appointment by President Hakainde Hichilema.<\/p>\n

According to Lungu, justices Arnold Mweetwa Shilimi, Kenneth Mulife and Mudford Mwandenga cannot continue to be part of the panel to hear his case, as he was involved as a lawyer to challenge their appointment in a matter Makalu and Mwanza took to court.<\/p>\n

This matter comes up today at 14:30 hours in the Constitutional Court on whether the justices can recuse themselves or not.<\/p>\n
