Africa-Press – Zambia. <\/strong><\/span>This tendency of always using the Police to fix political opponents instead of arresting the ever increasing cost of living is worrying especially on the part of President Hakainde Hichilema and the UPND,\u201d says National Democratic Congress (NDC).<\/p>\n

NDC Media Director Mambwe Zimba says it is a known fact that UPND has lost popularity and the only way to make relevance is to use some overzealous political opponents to fix opponents.<\/p>\n

\u201cWhen did it become a crime to share something that is in public domain? Why didn\u2019t they summon all those that share different information instead of targeting top opposition political opponents,\u201d he questioned.<\/p>\n

\u201cTo the Police, stop being used by overzealous individuals acting out of fear, whose time is fast approaching.These people will use you but if you become an enemy of the public, you will run away from this country after 2026. The people using you have immunity. With that said, as National Democratic Congress (NDC), a fully functional member of the United Kwacha Alliance (UKA), we are not surprised with the move by the Police being managed by the UPND because this is what was expected.\u201d<\/p>\n

Mr Zimba said President Hichilema is unsettled with this alliance and he can confidently say he is having sleepless nights. \u201cHe thought that using some collaborators to disturb political parties would work to his favor but that has backfired hard on him. Even his propaganda machine is failing to comprehend the influence that UKA has brought,\u201d he added.<\/p>\n

\u201cWe just want to advise them that they should use the little time left to ensure that they cleanse themselves because the people have awaken up (ba UKA bantu) and UPND will cry like babies come 2026,\u201d he concluded.<\/p>\n
