Africa-Press<\/a> – Zambia<\/a>. <\/strong><\/span>Still Feels Like a Dream, I Don\u2019t Want to Wake Up \u2013 Daka Revels in debut Premier League Goal Chipolopolo striker Patson Daka came off the bench to score his first goal in the Premier League as Leicester City defeated giants Manchester United 4-2 at the King Power Stadium on Saturday.<\/p>\n

Daka was introduced in the 77th minute for Nigerian teammate Kelechi Iheanacho and went to put in an impactful 13 minute shift in which he recorded his first goal for the club deep in injury time.<\/p>\n

The former Red Bull Salzburg star recieved a well delivered set-piece by Belgian midfielder Youri Tielemans in the box before tapping the ball into the back of the net from close range to score the Foxes\u2019 fourth goal and opened his goal account the club to seal the victory over the record English champions.<\/p>\n

\u201cIt meant so much for me, for my confidence and it is something that I have been looking to, still feels like a dream and I don\u2019t want to wake up,<\/p>\n

\u201cI am just so excited and happy that I got to open my account for this great club and I look forward to many more\u201d Daka said in a post-match interview. The 23-year old striker describe the moment before putting the ball beyond David de Gea as crazy.<\/p>\n

He added : \u201cWell I was just praying that don\u2019t mistake here because [Laughs], it was so crazy, I had to concentrate fully and I managed to score the goal which was very important.\u201d<\/p>\n

He said scoring his first goal for the club had given him confidence to find his feet in the Premier League having arrived this season from Austria. \u201cIt was really important for me for my confidence and for the team, it was a very crazy game, very intensive and against tough opponent\u201d<\/p>\n

\u201cI have recieved a lot of support from my teammates, the coaching staff and everyone at the club including the fans and to get the goal really boost my confidence.\u201d Daka also expressed his gratitude to Manager Brendan Rodgers for having accorded him chance feature and score his first goal for the club.<\/p>\n

\u201cHe just told me to go and pick it up from where Kelechi left, he really did his best and it was my time now to go and to do my best because he told not have pressure and just do what I do,\u201d he said.
