Africa-Press – Zambia. <\/strong><\/span>IAM available to lead the PF to victory in the 2026 general election, says businessman and party mobilisation committee member, Bizwell Mutale. Mr Mutale said in an interview that the PF is still a party of choice and that with a visionary leadership, it will bounce back to power in the next general election.<\/p>\n

\u201cI will run for the presidency at the PF convention because firstly, I\u2019m Zambian and secondly I have all the qualification to lead the party to victory,\u201d he said.<\/p>\n

Mr Mutale said those saying he cannot lead the party because he is new, are just wasting their time because the people of Zambia are looking for a person who can carry-on the ideology of the late founding father President Michael Sata.<\/p>\n

He said the PF is for all Zambians and does not belong to any certain tribe or region as some people in the party are misleading members. \u201cThose who think PF belong to a certain tribe or region are not sincere with themselves,\u201d he said.<\/p>\n

Mr Mutale said the PF party is where it is today because it lived in denial and moved away from its original ideology left by President Sata. \u201cThe Zambian people kicked us from power because we did not put the interest of the people first,\u201d he said adding that, campaign funds were not shared equally.<\/p>\n

He said the party needs to rebrand and move forward if the party is to win the 2026 election. Mr Mutale said it\u2019s sad that the party leadership has not come out to give confidence to the Zambian people.<\/p>\n

He said it time for those who have been in leadership for too long and have failed the party to pave way for new blood that will put the interest of the people above self. \u2013<\/p>\n
