Africa-Press – Zambia. <\/strong><\/span>We are alive to the fact that the New Dawn Administration has settled, and we expect them to fulfill their campaign promises in an effort to improve the welfare of the Zambian people.<\/p>\n

We are fully aware that the national budget has been presented to Parliament, and we hope that its implementation will speak to the aspirations of the Zambian people.<\/p>\n

It\u2019s worthy noting that the opposition political parties are expected to provide credible checks and balances to government without fear of intimidation as the Republican President, Mr. Hakainde Hichilema is on record of having assured the nation that no one will be harassed for criticizing Government or expressing their views.<\/p>\n

We expect the PF as the biggest opposition political party in the country to remain united and focused for them to be formidable in providing credible checks and balances to Government.<\/p>\n

We are of the view that PF should indeed remain alive, vibrant and united as was the case after the demise of the founding party leader Michael Chilufya Sata, when the rank and file of the party settled for President Edgar Chagwa Lungu who moved the party to the next level.<\/p>\n

In view of the foregoing, we expect the same to be replicated by allowing the rank and file of the party to choose a leader of their choice to further steer the Boat to the desired destination. <\/p>\n
