Africa-Press – Zimbabwe. Former Zimbabwean President, the late Robert Mugabe’s son, Bellarmine Mugabe, has been formally charged with attempted murder in SouthAfrica.
Mugabe was arrested last week after he shot and injured a man at a property in Johannesburg.
The 28-year-old Mugabe was nabbed along with his bodyguard. The bodyguard and Mugabe are also facing two more charges, including defeating the ends of justice, which relates to a missing firearm.
The case against the two men has been postponed until 3 March, when a bail application will be made.
Meanwhile, the victim is currently in critical condition at the hospital.
Mugabe is the youngest son of Robert Mugabe and his second wife, Grace Mugabe.
