The ZANU PF Politburo confirmed on Wednesday that Presidential Advisor Tempter Paul Tungwarara has been co-opted into the party’s Central Committee for Manicaland province.

Tungwarara takes over from Doroth Mabika, who was elected ZANU-PF Manicaland provincial chairwoman.

ZANU PF Secretary for Information and Publicity, Christopher Mutsvangwa, announced Tungwarara’s co-option into the Central Committee. Said Mutsvangwa:

“The Politburo also made deliberations on the issue of Manicaland on the selection of Dr Tungwarara as a Central Committee member.

“I am glad to announce that Cde Tungwarara has now been accepted as a Central Committee member of the ruling party ZANU PF.”

“This is an injection of the new blood, young business people with fresh ideas on how to generate wealth for this country.”
