The Zimbabwean government has commended the fruitful relations between Zimbabwe and China as evidenced by the number of successful projects undertaken by the Chinese in Zimbabwe.
The remarks were made by the Minister of Information, Publicity and Broadcasting Services Cde Monica Mutsvangwa during the 2019 Zimbabwe-Chinese Spring Gala.
Speaking during the gathering to celebrate the Chinese Spring Gala, regarded as the most important Chinese traditional festival, Cde Mutsvangwa, hailed the continued bilateral relations which exist between the two nations.
Speaking on the sidelines of the festival Mr Zhao Baogang who is the Charge D’affaires at the Chinese embassy hailed the existing relations between the two countries making special mention of the two countries’ rich heritage and culture.
The celebrations were marked by cultural performances from both countries which saw some Zimbabwean groups singing and performing in Chinese, a testimony of the strong economic and cultural relations between the two nations.
