Africa-Press – Zimbabwe. Trevor Ncube’s father has succumbed to COVID-19, the chair of Alpha Media Holdings announced Saturday.
He was 86 years old.
In a statement posted on Twitter, Trevor Ncube said:
_My 86 year old father, friend and hero succumbed to Covid19 in Bulawayo early this morning. A sweet, compassionate and witty man who will be sorely missed._
His death comes as Zimbabwe is experiencing a coronavirus resurgence that is attributed to the highly contagious Delta variant of the coronavirus that was first detected in India.
